Many of my wine club customers keep coming back to this wine. A little awkward on release, this wine has found its feet and is really beginning to show the strengths of the 2013 vintage. Lovely and rich, round and warming, it invites you to sit around the dinner table with a roast or casserole and savour every glass.

James may have only given this wine 88 Points but it gained a Silver at the Melbourne International Wine Awards. This wine has definitely grown in the bottle. The tannins have softened and the fruit and oak are really coming together well. This is becoming a much asked about wine now.
“A small portion hand-picked, the rest machine-harvested, cultured yeast and open-fermented, 10-12 days on skins, basket-pressed, matured for 20 months in used French and American oak. An honest, medium to full-bodied red wine, neither its origin or variety in any doubt. Good balance, too.”
